Kat and her family have been investing in real estate during some of the best and worst economic times of the past 15 years. As a mother, wife, CEO and licensed realtor, she knows first hand the importance of a home to both families and the local community as a whole. Kat's relentless spirit to create and improve the lives of those in her sphere of influence gives her the daily motivation to find solutions to complicated problems.
Coaching others to achieve their goals has been the backbone of her professional career. She is a Bay Area native who graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor's in Social Welfare. The past 20 years as an Executive Director in the nonprofit sector has taught her that an entire community benefits when it's members have access to support systems that encourage growth. Kat believes that real estate can be used to as an effective vehicle for positive change. The retirement or downsizing of long time owners can be create an opportunity for a young family to get a start on their road to financial stability.
Stone Family Properties is changing the way the real estate sector interacts with today's modern family. Kat and her team create unique alternatives that provide solutions to those who may not have the opportunity to participate in the industry. Maurice completes the dynamic sibling team of Stone Family Properties by overseeing the Greater Sacramento area projects. With a background and passion for technology, he understands the importance of the details and inter-connections of the systems in each deal. His background as a technician brings him years of experience trouble shooting and problem solving his clients' individual needs.
Growing up in the Bay Area and moving to Sacramento 20 years ago has given him extensive knowledge of the markets of most Northern California areas. Familiarity with the various home styles of California properties allows him to connect the needs and possibilities in each project. Whether it's a rural plot or a city apartment, he can quickly assess the necessary next steps for the desired outcome.
Maurice's strong sense of foresight and intuition gives his clients unmatched support through the strenuous process of buying or selling a home. As a forward thinker and excellent communicator, he help put people at ease during critical moments of their individual process. Maurice's innovative approach to his clients' portfolios has grown his reputation as a down to earth specialist who prioritizes the needs of his clients.
Joe brings a calculated, multi-cultured perspective to the Stone Family Properties daily operations. His connections to the multitude of professionals our company partners with allows us to custom tailor each contract with reliable associates in our service areas.
Joe earned his Master in Engineering degree from UC Berkeley before founding SF and Oakland based SEDR Consulting. He has made a name for himself with innovative structural designs for personal and commercial projects throughout California. With almost 20 years in structural design, he has become well rounded in many facets of the real estate industry.
Born in Nigeria and raised in Oahu, Hawaii, Joe brings a distinctive multi-cultured approach to our projects and clients' needs. He believes that the environment we live in heavily contributes to our well-being. This holistic approach has played a critical role to our company's evolution over the past several years.
Joe has extended his professional services to local nonprofits that serve populations in need. Witnessing the immense positive effects of small community based programs has driven him to spearhead the implementation of a strategic plan for Stone Family Properties' community outreach program.
